Biography
Dr Heather Harvey is currently, in the Faculty of Medicine, at Hashemite University, in Jordan. She received her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, in 1999. Since then she has served on the faculty at universities and medical schools in the US, UAE, Saudi Arabia, & West Indies. She was a Fulbright Scholar in 2006, in Singapore and Malaysia where she spent time trying to identify key public health concerns, and is currently involved in exploring the use of evidence based primary prevention in pediatric services in Jordan. Since 2014 she has consulted and developed specialized curriculums for technical health programs in Thailand, Saudi Arabia & Jordan, with a focus on student centered learning.
